Refugees in Chogo village are supplied with safe and clean water for their normal domestic use. Chlorine and
Aluminum Sulphate are the two chemicals
used for water treatment in the village. The chemicals are applied daily for water purification and killing of microorganisms.
Constraints
The supply is less than the demanded water for domestic use per day. The least standard of water supply in the refugee camp is 19ltrs/person/day.
The difficulty is mostly caused by less financial provision. Old age condition of the water supplying system, which has been forcing frequent
repair and maintenance of pipelines has increased high maintenance cost. These have contributed to high cost of operations time after time.
